Signage & Wayfinding Coordinator

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Signage & Wayfinding Coordinator responsible for overseeing the design, procurement, and installation of signage systems within large facilities. This individual will play a vital role in providing clear and standardized wayfinding solutions that improve the experience of visitors and users. Collaboration with design, construction, and facility teams is essential to ensure projects are completed timely and within budget.

Key Duties

• Manage the creation and execution of signage and wayfinding strategies across multiple project locations.
• Communicate effectively with architects, designers, and suppliers to guarantee signage meets branding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the procurement process, production, and installation timelines for signage components.
• Perform on-site evaluations to identify wayfinding needs and possible challenges.
• Keep detailed records including signage inventories, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all signage complies with local codes, accessibility norms, and safety standards.
• Supervise quality assurance during both fabrication and installation stages.

Skills and Expertise

• Excellent at coordinating projects and organizing tasks.
• Knowledgeable about signage materials, manufacturing techniques, and principles of wayfinding design.
• Competent in interpreting architectural and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills and capable in vendor relationship management.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or comparable design programs is advantageous.
• Capability to handle numerous projects concurrently under strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or closely related discipline.
• Preferably previous experience in signage coordination, wayfinding, or facility management roles.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and building code requirements linked to signage.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
• Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience working with signage, wayfinding projects, or in construction/facilities coordination.
• Experience engaging with vendors, fabricators, and installation crews favored.
