Overview
This role involves assessing, designing, and delivering new products and services using Oracle Siebel Open UI across Mass Market and EBU CRM platforms to fulfill business requirements effectively. The candidate will lead and manage development teams, including internal and third-party resources, within an Agile framework to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries aligned with domain leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement new capabilities on Oracle Siebel Open UI for various releases targeting business objectives.
- Manage and guide the development team in Agile projects, supervising task assignments and monitoring progress.
- Oversee impact assessments related to Open UI for ongoing business initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and design standards as defined by the domain manager.
- Prepare and submit all relevant RFCs and change requests following service management SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and Product Managers for sprint planning and deployment activities.
- Train newly onboarded team members regarding the existing technical architecture and features.
- Provide support throughout testing cycles alongside test teams and business product managers.
- Assist with deployment processes, including documentation and raising necessary change requests.
- Work jointly with colleagues to enhance system capabilities and report risks or challenges to CRM domain leadership.
- Support operational teams in analysing and resolving live environment issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent discipline with software development expertise.
- 7 to 10 years of experience developing products and solutions within telecommunications or vendors focusing on telecom technologies.
- Completion of Siebel Open UI Foundation Course is required.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel Open UI interface, architecture, and management of Open UI "manifest" configurations.
- Familiarity with presentation models and client-side logic implementation.
- Understanding of physical renderers to customize data presentation and experience with Siebel mobile interfaces in both online and offline modes.
- Competent in administering Siebel Open UI customizations, including themes, CSS, and desktop apps.
- Proficient debugging skills.
- Capability to administer and apply application-wide customizations.
- Experience coding using Siebel Open UI JavaScript API to customize standard form and list applets.
- Preferably completed Siebel Open UI Advanced JavaScript API Course.
