Role Overview

Shift Leader compensation starts at £15.59 per hour, increasing to £16.86 in stores located within the M25 zone. Some sites may include additional bonuses. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours weekly, though roles starting from 12 hours are available. Your scheduled shifts will be communicated at least three weeks ahead within your available time slots. Even if your availability is near the desired range, we encourage applications. Note: Candidates must be 18 or older.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences across all store sections.
- Serve as the main contact for daily operational questions and support all colleagues.
- Foster positive, inclusive relationships to empower colleagues and enhance performance.
- Step in confidently to lead the store when the Manager is absent.
- Make balanced and adaptable decisions amidst change.
- Coach team members through feedback and exemplify excellent service standards.
- Maintain curiosity to continuously find ways to better serve customers, communities, and the environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proven experience in leading teams or managing in a brisk retail setting.
- Strong role model passionate about great customer service and meeting customer needs.
- Ability to develop lasting, inclusive team relationships.
- Clear and effective communicator using multiple channels to keep the team informed.
- Natural leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams toward excellent results.
