About Aptiv and Role Overview
Aptiv is progressing its worldwide digital transformation through a strategic alliance with ServiceNow, integrating Aptiv's edge-to-cloud intelligence with the ServiceNow Platform to enhance intelligent automation, operational resilience, and enterprise-wide efficiency. As the ServiceNow Platform Architect, you will be instrumental in guiding this transformation by defining the platform’s enterprise architecture, establishing governance standards, and designing innovative, high-performance solutions that maximize Aptiv’s ecosystem and leverage the strategic collaboration with ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise objectives.
- Set and enforce governance, standards, and best practices for the platform.
- Create and update technical design documentation, architectural models, and platform standards.
- Lead design and deployment across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HAM, SAM, CMDB, Discovery, SPM, and GenAI/Now Assist.
- Build scalable solutions using tools like Flow Designer, Workflow Data Fabric, APIs, MID servers, and custom applications.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, cloning procedures, and environment strategies across Development, Testing, Sandbox, and Production setups.
- Develop integration strategies with enterprise systems such as Entra ID, Azure, AWS, Zabbix, Tanium, Cisco ISE, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365.
- Maintain CMDB data integrity and implement reconciliation strategies, while optimizing license utilization and platform costs.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and reduce risks.
- Support the design and execution of a platform operating model to achieve business outcomes and encourage adoption.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to developers and administrators, guiding standards for configuration and coding to improve deployment speed.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- More than 8 years of practical experience working with ServiceNow platform.
- Mandatory certifications: CSA and CAD; preferred certifications include CTA and CIS.
- Extensive expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, HAM, SAM, and Customer Service Management.
- Strong command of ServiceNow architectural patterns and performance enhancements.
- Proven skills in enterprise integration and data synchronization.
- Experienced in managing multi-instance strategies as well as complex migrations like cloning, splitting, and consolidating.
- Knowledge of GenAI and automation technologies such as Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Natural Language Understanding, and AI Search.
- Excellent ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- Capability to interpret business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Background in cloud architectures, including Azure and AWS platforms.
- Expertise in performance analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience participating in large-scale transformation initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and global deployments.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps frameworks.
