Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Architect within the Technology division of the Value Delivery organization, you will interface directly with key clients, sales, delivery teams, and product management. Your senior technical leadership will help guide Norwegian and international industrial clients in improving productivity, profitability, sustainability, and cost efficiency across major process and energy sectors. Through collaborative teamwork, you will craft and finalize tailored technical solutions for integration success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive architecture and solution design initiatives.
• Deliver strategic and technical guidance to customer-facing teams and clients.
• Define enterprise and solution architectures including integration frameworks, data modeling, and ingestion pipelines, alongside user-centric solutions.
• Represent complex technical solutions using architecture modeling methodologies.
• Assume operational and support accountability for deployed solutions.
• Forge and sustain strategic relationships with executives and data managers to foster long-term adoption of Cognite’s offerings.
• Provide training to internal staff and partners in your specialization areas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to transform customer needs into product features.
• Independently manage integrations, data modeling, and related technical tasks utilizing Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python/Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Maintain both technical and commercial expertise related to Cognite products.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in roles such as Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Technical expertise and readiness to engage with complex coding when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Background in industrial domains such as Manufacturing, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences is advantageous.
