Job Overview
We are in search of a seasoned ServiceNow Architect adept at leading the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions. The role focuses on defining platform architecture, setting technical standards, and ensuring scalable, secure, and future-proof ServiceNow implementations spanning various modules and business areas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive ServiceNow solutions across the entire platform.
- Create architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable according to ServiceNow best practices.
- Convert business requirements into technical solution designs and implementation plans.
- Conduct architecture reviews and uphold technical governance throughout project lifecycles.
- Design intricate workflows, integrations, automations, and data models to support enterprise-level processes.
- Implement platform standards, design methodologies, development frameworks, and governance structures.
- Formulate platform strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Maintain architectural uniformity across all ServiceNow deployments and upgrades.
- Establish governance over development, release management, upgrades, integrations, and platform upkeep.
- Assess technical debt and champion continuous enhancements to the platform.
- Advise on scalability, performance improvements, and future platform capabilities.
- Lead and mentor architects, consultants, developers, and administrators.
- Review technical designs, specifications, and code to ensure compliance with standards.
- Serve as the ultimate technical authority in ServiceNow projects and programs.
- Support complex decision-making during solution design and implementation phases.
- Facilitate technical workshops, architectural discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
- Design integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, identity management, monitoring tools, cloud, security, and third-party platforms using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and middleware.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security policies, and data governance.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and infrastructure teams on technology initiatives.
- Partner with project managers and delivery leads to ensure project success.
- Engage C-level stakeholders providing strategic advice on ServiceNow platform usage and benefits.
- Participate in business development, solution evaluations, and proposal creation.
- Conduct customer workshops, demos, and architectural assessments as a trusted advisor.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- At least 8 years of experience with ServiceNow, including a minimum of 3 years in an architectural capacity.
- In-depth knowledge across ServiceNow suites such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, IRM/GRC, and SecOps.
- Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, security frameworks, CMDB, CSDM, integrations, and automation features.
- Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Web Services, MID Server, and platform customization.
- Track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong grasp of ITIL principles and service management best practices.
- Familiar with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent consulting, stakeholder engagement, and presentation capabilities.
- Effective communication skills suitable for both technical teams and executive leadership.
Recommended Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) is advantageous.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Multiple CIS certifications across ServiceNow products.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
- TOGAF certification is desirable.
Academic Credentials
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
