Job Overview

This role is focused on supporting cloud engineering projects, playing an integral part in delivering successful cloud solutions. The position involves close collaboration with team members to implement, maintain, and optimize cloud services while ensuring documentation of technical procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for cloud engineering initiatives across various projects to ensure smooth execution.
• Work in tandem with team members to deploy and sustain cloud infrastructure and solutions.
• Assist in diagnosing issues and enhancing the performance of cloud services.
• Maintain clear documentation of technical discoveries and promote best practices across teams.
• Participate in cost monitoring and strategies aimed at cloud resource optimization.
• Engage in designing and conducting cloud-based testing and experimental setups.
• Offer guidance and assistance to junior colleagues to foster knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Keep abreast of evolving cloud technologies and industry standards to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Have at least 5 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a role similar to cloud or software engineering.
• Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages and familiar development methodologies.
• Possess foundational coding and debugging competencies.
• Show expertise in cloud platforms and current best practices in cloud computing.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• An advanced degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Hold relevant cloud certifications or possess experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or Azure is considered a plus.
