Service Engineer - Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics

Job Overview

This role involves attending to field service requests by providing prompt technical assistance related to electrical and electronic systems primarily used in resistance welding and tightening/DC nutrunner systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to field service calls delivering timely technical support and breakdown resolution at customer locations.
• Conduct installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of resistance welding systems and DC nutrunner tightening systems.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults effectively using various electrical instruments and manual tools.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records and generate reports on breakdowns and service activities.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines during all plant operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field. Fresh graduates demonstrating strong technical knowledge and eagerness to learn are welcome.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, ability to utilize electrical testing tools such as multimeters, testers, screwdrivers, and other hand instruments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi, English, and Gujarati are essential.
• Good problem-solving skills combined with the capability to work independently under breakdown scenarios at customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

• Previous exposure or practical experience in electrical/electronic testing and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Working knowledge or experience in resistance welding systems or DC nutrunner tightening systems is preferable.
• Experience gained within automotive manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
• Local candidates based in Sanand or Ahmedabad who own a two-wheeler along with a valid driving license will be preferred.
