Electrical Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with proficiency in advanced electrical CAD software and manufacturing domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing control systems and wiring harnesses, along with strong knowledge of electrical components and standards applicable to industrial automation and machinery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Zuken ECAD E3 Series, AutoCAD, and EPlan tools focused on Database Library Creation, Schematic Design, and Wiring Harness Development.
• Apply domain-specific knowledge in manufacturing sectors such as CNC machinery, special purpose machines, industrial automation, or the SEMI domain, emphasizing control systems, power distribution/control panel design, cable harness layouts, and servo controls.
• Handle components such as switchgears, photosensors, transducers, and safety sensors with proficiency.
• Demonstrate a solid foundation in electrical and electronic design principles.
• Select appropriate electrical, electromechanical, and electronic components following international standards.
• Implement best practices in Electrical Fundamentals including EMC, EMI, earthing, grounding, and safety interlocks.
• Design and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Knowledge of industry standards like SEMI S2, S8, S22, UL508A, NFPA79, and UL, alongside CAD expertise particularly in E3S, is preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any engineering specialization.
