Head, Electrical & Instrument Engineering

Role Overview

Lead the Instrumentation, Telecom, and Electrical engineering aspects throughout the entire lifecycle of offshore facilities design, from procurement through to commissioning, for the NFA Sustainability Project. Ensure the project is delivered timely, within budget, and aligns with approved specifications and international standards.

Required Experience and Expertise

• At least 15 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering design within the Oil & Gas sector.
• A minimum of 10 years’ involvement in offshore Oil & Gas processing facility projects.
• At least 7 years serving as Lead Discipline Engineer with substantial exposure to Telecom and Electrical engineering design domains.
• Thorough knowledge of Shell DEP’s, alongside other global design codes and standards.
• Experienced in Instrument and Electrical engineering software, including oversight of design review procedures.
• Familiarity with various FEED and EPIC deliverables, equipment specifications, and design/construction progress monitoring.
• Proven leadership in managing discipline engineering teams within major project frameworks.
• Strong technical expertise combined with planning, communication, reporting, and leadership competence; fluent in English.

Educational Credentials

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instrumentation & Control or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution; advanced degrees are an asset.
• Preferred certification includes Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
