Job description
Primary Role
This position functions as the key coordinator between the LNG Shipping Department within QatarEnergy's Marketing Directorate and various project management and engineering teams overseeing new ship builds. The role extends to collaboration with ship operators and external partners to uphold utmost safety, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence throughout the lifecycle of the LNG fleet under long-term charter.
Experience and Expertise Required
Candidates should possess no less than eight years of experience in marine operations and transportation within the oil and gas industry, demonstrating successful management of profit centers.
Academic Credentials
A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies, or equivalent fields is required. Alternatively, a first-class Marine Certificate of Competency such as Master Mariner or Chief Engineer is also acceptable.
