Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Service Engineer based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining equipment and systems integral to Vector Art's production and design workflows. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, and offering on-site technical support to internal teams and clients. The role also encompasses documenting service activities, liaising with vendors for repair parts, and minimizing downtime to maintain operational efficiency. Coordination with design and operations teams to enhance system performance while adhering to safety and quality standards is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve technical problems swiftly through effective troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
• Perform on-site installations, inspections, and system startups as part of field service operations.
• Provide user support, document incidents, and escalate issues following established protocols.
• Carry out routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and computer-based systems.
• Maintain professional communication with coworkers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, IT, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in field service roles involving installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks.
• Understand safety standards, basic networking, and documentation protocols for equipment.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and adapt to new technologies.
• Prior experience in a service or maintenance position within production, printing, or design-related settings is advantageous.
