Job description

Overview

Auckland Council is undergoing a significant digital transformation and has developed one of New Zealand's largest ICT capabilities. We invite an experienced ICT professional to join our dynamic team as a Service Desk Analyst in a full-time permanent role based in Auckland CBD, with remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level technical support remotely and in-person for user accounts, file shares, hardware, Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and SaaS applications.
  • Accurately register and analyse support or service requests, aiming for resolution at the initial point of contact wherever possible.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar support role.
  • Strong administrative skills working with MS Active Directory user management, groups, policies, Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Hold ITIL Foundation V3 certification and/or an education certificate in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with resilience and a strong focus on meeting service level agreements.
