Senior/Lead Design Scheduler

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Design Scheduler to join our team in Dublin. This role is focused on managing and developing intricate project schedules throughout the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) lifecycle, specifically for large and complex design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed schedules for the Design and Procurement phases of projects.
• Oversee project controls tools and processes to ensure effective schedule management.
• Perform critical path development and analysis to monitor project progress.
• Lead and facilitate Interactive Planning Workshops with project teams.
• Engage with project stakeholders from early design stages to support schedule alignment.
• Provide performance updates and identify variances requiring corrective measures.
• Identify key project milestones and track their progress and reporting.
• Maintain regular communication with project management via schedule status reports.
• Determine resource requirements for project scheduling and planning.
• Develop and communicate tools aimed at achieving the project goals on time.
• Contribute valuable insights during Design Reviews.
• Foster collaborative and productive relationships with clients.
• Align project objectives with client expectations to meet targets and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Execute projects following an established Quality Management System.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in project scheduling for complex projects covering design through construction phases.
• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Comprehensive understanding of scheduling across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of design sequencing and logical workflow management.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or data center sectors is essential.
• Familiarity with earned value progress tracking and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
