About Vertu Ford Birmingham
Become an essential member of the Vertu Ford Birmingham team as a Senior Vehicle Technician. This role plays a key part in providing excellent customer service based on integrity and expertise.
Job Summary
The position offers a basic salary ranging from £30,000 to £41,000 depending on your level of skills and experience. The contract is based on a 40-hour workweek with Saturdays compensated by overtime pay. Additionally, there is an opportunity to earn bonuses through outstanding performance. A £4,000 sign-on bonus is also available, with £2,000 paid in the first month and the remaining £2,000 paid in the 13th month of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on customer vehicles efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize your technical expertise to support and collaborate with colleagues to maintain productivity.
- Coordinate with service advisors, customers, and senior management to ensure professional communication and exceptional customer service standards.
- Deliver high quality workmanship focused on achieving first-time resolution of vehicle issues.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a formal automotive qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
- Proven current experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
- Holding an MOT license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must have your own set of tools.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
