Job description
Position Overview
This role involves addressing minor plumbing issues including drain unclogging, toilet plunging, and faucet repairs. It also encompasses miscellaneous minor fixes such as tightening loose toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and repairing wall damages. Preventative upkeep of tools and equipment through cleaning and lubrication is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and mend minor plumbing faults.
- Carry out small repairs around the premises.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
- Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and complete necessary safety training.
- Report any maintenance concerns, hazards, or incidents promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and protection of company assets.
- Greet guests courteously and anticipate their service needs, including assistance for those with disabilities.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Build and sustain positive relationships within the team.
- Perform manual tasks including lifting/moving objects up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier items over 100 pounds.
- Carry out visual inspections and physical activities such as bending, twisting, and stair climbing as required.
- Accept additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior related work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No licenses or certifications needed.
