Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Technical Business Analyst specializing in Cards Compliance to join on a fixed-term 1-year contract basis. This opportunity involves hybrid working arrangements and responsibilities centered around interpreting, assessing, and implementing mandated changes by Fintech payment networks within the card ecosystem.

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining ongoing compliance and facilitating strategic projects such as the integration of Virtual Cards and Business Cards into digital wallets. The aim is to enhance delivery efficiency, improve the quality of requirement gathering, and strengthen governance around compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret global payment network mandates and assess their compliance impact to execute necessary scheme-related modifications.
• Lead business analysis functions including eliciting requirements, modelling business processes, analyzing data, and conducting mapping activities.
• Manage agile delivery processes by overseeing backlog grooming, creating detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, and supporting both testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Engage with various stakeholders by organizing cross-functional workshops, coordinating with external vendors, and facilitating executive-level communications.
• Identify risks, collect audit documentation, and contribute to governance reporting to ensure compliance adherence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive business analysis background within complex enterprise environments.
• Domain expertise in banking, payments, or card issuance industries.
• Proven track record in leading compliance, regulatory, or scheme-related initiatives.
• Experience navigating multiple technology platforms and vendor landscapes while participating in large scale agile or hybrid program deliveries.
• Preferred experience includes familiarity with Fintech operations, global payment scheme compliance, issuer processing setups, and card issuing platforms.
• Bachelor's Degree is a mandatory qualification.
