About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer or Structural Designer with over ten years of professional experience to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role demands proficiency in structural engineering and design practices, with a focus on large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects. Candidates with experience in Qatar or the broader GCC region will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of buildings using industry-standard software tools.
- Prepare thorough structural design calculations and detailed drawings.
- Review structural plans ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to coordinate design efforts.
- Manage individual design requirements and adhere to project timelines with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in structural engineering and design.
- Strong skill set in structural analysis, particularly with reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Advanced proficiency in structural design software, including ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
- Experience handling large-scale projects in residential, commercial, or high-rise sectors.
- Familiarity with Qatar or GCC engineering standards is advantageous.
