Job Overview

This role as a Senior Solutions Architect involves being the technical lead and advisor for Business Development, acting as the primary technical liaison for clients. The position requires guiding technical discovery, tailoring scopes for practical implementation, and designing intricate software architectures. You will collaborate with C-level executives as a trusted advisor and work closely with Delivery Teams to ensure smooth transition and execution of requirements, while transforming repetitive market challenges into scalable, standardized software products to enhance the company’s portfolio and commercial potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions and workshops engaging both executive (C-level) and technical stakeholders to identify operational challenges and craft customized technology solutions.
• Perform technical assessments to convert complex or unclear requirements into actionable, executable plans ensuring operational success and deliverability.
• Coordinate closely with Delivery and Engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure requirement handover aligns sales commitments with implementation, preventing disconnects.
• Drive productization by converting frequent client needs and market demands into standardized, repeatable frameworks and product offerings, strengthening competitive advantage.
• Qualify business opportunities technically, develop High-Level Architecture Designs (HLD), and provide preliminary effort and cost estimates (ROM sizing).
• Develop and present compelling technical proposals, justifying solution architectures based on Cloud, Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven architecture.
• Assess and define Data & AI / GenAI use cases, examining their technical feasibility and commercial potential.
• Ensure all proposed solutions are compliant with Saudi national standards and regulations such as DGA, SDAIA/NDMO, NCA, and PDPL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related disciplines is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive experience starting from software engineering roles to solution architecture and technical advisory positions.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales consulting, technical advisory, and engaging with executives in Riyadh.
• Proven background working on Saudi public sector projects with comprehensive knowledge of local regulatory frameworks including DGA, SDAIA, NCA, and PDPL.
• Preferred professional certifications include Enterprise Architecture or Cloud certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or PMP.
