Subject Matter Expert – Digital Transformation

Role Overview

EjadTech is searching for a knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert in Digital Transformation to aid strategic initiatives and client engagements within Saudi Arabia's government and private sectors. This role integrates consulting on digital transformation, aiding business development, crafting solutions, and providing selective delivery support. The SME will guide clients, evaluate transformation maturity, develop applicable solutions, and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, national digital frameworks, and EjadTech's consulting/technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on digital transformation strategies, organizational models, digital maturity assessments, governance frameworks, and technology-driven changes.
• Carry out current state evaluations, gap analyses, benchmarking exercises, and define target states.
• Create transformation strategies, roadmap plans, governance structures, and initiatives for performance enhancements.
• Convert strategic goals into actionable, prioritized, and measurable digital initiatives.
• Advise on Saudi digital frameworks and compliance requirements like DGA, SDAIA, NDMO, NORA, and digital experience maturity.
• Evaluate performance metrics, identify shortcomings, and suggest initiatives to boost maturity, compliance, and readiness.
• Translate regulatory standards into concrete projects, governance policies, and implementation plans.
• Engage in client discovery to uncover business challenges and transformation priorities.
• Assess opportunities from strategic, consultative, technical, and delivery viewpoints.
• Define project scopes, methodologies, workstreams, and deliverables ensuring alignment with EjadTech's capabilities.
• Design comprehensive solutions integrating strategy, governance, technology platforms, products, managed services, and transformation programs.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and statements of work ensuring technical feasibility and commercial relevance.
• Support business development activities by participating in client meetings, workshops, and opportunity identification.
• Identify transformation prospects grounded in client needs, regulatory frameworks, and maturity gaps.
• Demonstrate EjadTech's strengths in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, data and AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Lead executive workshops and strategy discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Assist project delivery by providing expert advice during assessment, planning, design, governance, and improvement stages.
• Review deliverables and assist teams in overcoming complex transformation challenges.
• Gather insights from implementations to refine future offerings and seize market opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or relevant disciplines; Master’s degree advantageous.
• 8 to 12+ years of experience in digital transformation, management/technology consulting, enterprise transformation, or associated fields.
• Demonstrated history in delivering digital transformation projects for Saudi governmental or significant private organizations.
• In-depth understanding of Saudi digital governance, regulatory frameworks, including DGA, SDAIA, NDMO, enterprise architecture, and data governance.
• Hands-on expertise in digital strategy formulation, maturity evaluation, gap analysis, road-mapping, governance, and performance improvement.
• Knowledge across enterprise architecture, data governance, digital government, beneficiary experience, innovation, AI, cloud, IT governance, and emerging tech domains.
• Prior experience within technology consulting firms or digital transformation service providers preferred.
• Excellent communication, consultancy, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement capabilities at executive levels.

Preferred Certifications

Certifications such as TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, PMP, Prosci, SAFe, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Data Governance, Cloud, Security, or Innovation are considered valuable.
