Domain Expertise

The ideal candidate will have a powerful background in banking, wealth management, asset management, accounting, or lending, with added advantage from corporate banking exposure. A strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new domains is essential. Experience leading or contributing significantly to at least three projects focused on designing secure, resilient, and reliable applications within microservices and API ecosystems for the financial domain is required. You will also help develop and uphold architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Technical Skills and Experience

Prospective candidates should bring over eight years of expertise in designing full-stack end-to-end solutions including backend, frontend, and mobile applications within container-based or cloud-native ecosystems. A deep understanding of architectural design patterns and the capability to evaluate their benefits and drawbacks is necessary. You should be well-versed with embedding cybersecurity and information security controls compliant with regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, UAE Central Bank, and GDPR. Core competencies include threat modeling, secure authentication and authorization methods, encryption techniques, data security, and security incident management. Some background in cyber-attack and defense strategies is desirable. Familiarity with AI technologies including Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Vector Databases, and associated frameworks and tools is valuable.
