SAP FI Consultant

Role Overview

We seek a SAP FI Consultant with extensive expertise in SAP Financial Accounting to lead and support end-to-end implementation projects across multiple locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Coimbatore. This role centers on managing implementation, rollout, and data migration activities with a strong focus on tax-related topics and integration within SAP modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FI implementation projects from project initiation through to go-live, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Design, configure, and manage SAP FI modules covering areas such as Order to Cash (O2C), Source to Pay (S2P), rollout, migration, taxation, tax reporting including DRC, DRM, and SAF-T compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and translate business requirements into effective SAP FICO solutions.
• Offer expert technical guidance on SAP FICO best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and tax regulations.
• Handle multiple concurrent project priorities efficiently while maintaining quality and deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) core module implementation.
• Strong understanding of tax implications across various business processes including O2C and S2P.
• Proven experience in implementation, rollout, and data migration projects involving tax modules.
• Knowledge of integration points between FI, Sales and Distribution (SD), and S2P modules.
• Familiarity with tax reporting and compliance for specific countries including GST, DRC, and SAF-T standards.
• Understanding of SAP system landscapes and architecture.
• Experience or knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is considered a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and actively contribute to project success.
