Senior Solution Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure cloud services, enterprise level integration, and progressive cloud architectures. This individual will spearhead the definition and supervision of comprehensive solution architectures that translate business demands into scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold the comprehensive architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Craft scalable and secure solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Lead the technical design and architecture for new services, enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
• Assess current architectures to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, modernization, and streamlining.
• Architect integration frameworks bridging Dynamics 365, Databricks, enterprise applications, APIs, external systems, and data platforms.
• Define standards for API management, integration patterns, data flows, authentication, and security architectures.
• Ensure alignment with application, data, integration, and infrastructure architectural best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, data architects, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure specialists, and project managers.
• Review technical designs, architectural documentation, integration specifications, and development methodologies.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to development and implementation teams.
• Guarantee that solutions comply with organizational policies on security, data protection, governance, and architecture.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, scalability challenges, and failure points.
• Support the evaluation of technical options and provide well-informed recommendations.
• Participate actively in architecture review boards and key technical decision-making forums.
• Ensure solution designs address requirements for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Essential Qualifications

• Over 10 years of IT experience with a strong focus on solution and enterprise architecture.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementation and architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Microsoft Dataverse platforms.
• Strong command over architecture, customization options, security roles, business units, workflows, plugins, APIs, and integrations within Dynamics 365.
• Proficient in Azure cloud architecture design and deployment.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise-level integrations utilizing APIs, RESTful services, messaging systems, and integration platforms.
• Deep understanding of data architecture concepts and integration between CRM systems and enterprise data stores.
• Knowledgeable about Databricks and modern data platform architectures sufficient to govern and design integrations.
• Experience with complementary Microsoft technologies such as Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Power Platform, and Power BI is highly valued.
• Comprehensive understanding of identity and security mechanisms including Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and secure API integration methods.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and documentation conventions.
• Insight into performance optimization, scalability strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder management capabilities.
