Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack & Mobile (AI-Enabled Development)

Overview

This senior engineering role calls for a versatile professional skilled in developing across web and mobile platforms within an AI-augmented software development lifecycle. The position focuses on building robust production applications using React and React Native, utilizing AI tools to enhance all phases from design to deployment. Experience in telecommunications is an advantage due to the industry's scale and regulatory requirements.

Key Duties

• Architect, build, and sustain web and mobile platforms using React and React Native frameworks
• Implement AI-powered software lifecycle practices, encompassing AI-assisted requirement gathering, coding with AI pair-programming tools, AI-driven testing, code reviews, and deployment automation including monitoring and incident management
• Work closely with product owners, designers, and QA to translate business needs into scalable software solutions
• Take full ownership of feature development from architecture through post-release monitoring
• Advocate for and enforce standards ensuring code quality, performance efficiency, accessibility, and security across platforms
• Assess and incorporate AI-based tools like automated code generation, testing, and documentation to boost development velocity and quality
• Guide less experienced developers in technical implementation and AI-enhanced development workflows
• Partake in architectural decisions that balance code reuse, application performance, and maintainability across web and mobile applications
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with AI-driven optimizations for build and testing processes

Essential Qualifications

• Expertise primarily in either web or mobile development, complemented by a broad familiarity with full-stack technologies
• Extensive practical experience with React for web and React Native for mobile cross-platform development
• Strong command over mobile app development foundations, including iOS and Android build processes, app store deployment procedures, and integrating native modules
• Hands-on experience applying AI-enabled SDLC stages: from requirements planning, design, development, testing to deployment and system monitoring
• Proven professional usage of AI coding assistants and copilot tools during development activities
• Thorough understanding of state management techniques, API integrations (REST and GraphQL), and performance tuning on both web and mobile platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD mechanisms, version control using Git, and automated testing solutions
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and scalable design methodologies
