Senior Software Engineer (Front-End)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to develop advanced web-based banking applications using React alongside JavaScript and TypeScript. This role involves end-to-end ownership of critical front-end components, focusing on creating reusable elements, enhancing performance, accessibility, and mentoring colleagues within an Agile environment that leverages APIs and continuous integration/deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement front-end features utilizing React and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Manage complete delivery pipelines of user-facing modules from conceptualization through launch.
• Design reusable components, shared libraries, and integration solutions.
• Integrate front-end interfaces with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.
• Optimize performance, security, accessibility compliance, and responsive design.
• Develop unit and component tests to support thorough and dependable end-to-end automation.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain quality standards, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Provide mentorship to engineering peers and actively participate in planning, refinement, and estimation activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven expertise in ReactJS development.
• Mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript languages.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or their equivalents.
• Strong skills in building responsive UIs using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of front-end testing including unit and component testing practices.
• Understanding of Git workflows and exposure to CI/CD environments.
• Practical experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
