Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished KDB Developer to join our team, supporting advanced data solutions used by prominent financial institutions worldwide. Ideal candidates are strategic thinkers comfortable in dynamic settings, possessing analytical skills to tackle complex business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global clients within our kdb+ consulting practice.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and configuration customization.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle, influencing architecture and design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Work directly with users to gather requirements, manage integrations, deploy applications, assist with configurations, troubleshoot, and provide training.
  • Provide user support for data access and query operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in software engineering or development utilizing KDB+/Q.
  • Strong academic credentials in fields such as business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology.
  • Proven background in building software solutions using languages like Java, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with build and deployment tools including Jenkins or TeamCity.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a keen interest in continuously learning emerging tools and technologies.
