As a Senior Software Engineer focused on backend development, you will create robust backend systems that support real-time interactions for millions of users. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend APIs and systems powering high-use applications accessible 24/7.
• Produce production-ready software continuously, advancing features and capabilities in a live sports betting environment.
• Balance agility with scalability to enable rapid product launches while ensuring systems can adapt and perform efficiently at scale.
• Own the complete software development lifecycle, including design, maintenance, tuning, and reliability enhancements.
• Swiftly diagnose and fix production issues, fostering continuous operational improvement and excellence.
• Ensure all backend components endure extensive load and real-time demands, optimizing for performance and speed.
• Integrate AI tools into daily engineering processes and develop AI-powered solutions to enhance team productivity.
• Work cross-functionally to align technical implementation with product objectives, mentor colleagues, and uphold high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent mix of education, experience, and training.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in object-oriented backend development using languages like C# or Java, with strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, and backend architectures.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems in cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Practical use of AI-assisted coding tools and agents to accelerate software delivery, automate workflows, or improve team efficiency.
• Advanced skills in developing and maintaining comprehensive automated test suites (unit, integration, and performance) for large backend services.
• Experience mentoring peers through code reviews, design critiques, and collaborative problem-solving.
