Role Responsibilities

In the position of Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you will fully engage in the design, development, and maintenance of both new and existing backend systems. Responsibilities encompass individual and collaborative work using Agile practices to enhance software architecture and infrastructure. Key tasks include:

• Develop backend components in Go language to improve product availability, scalability, response time, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise innovative architectural solutions for enhanced backend scaling and performance.
• Participate in rigorous code and design reviews to uphold high-quality development standards.
• Engage in capacity planning, performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting for backend services alongside internal teams.
• Work with product management to define and prototype new feature specifications.
• Design, build, and debug large-scale distributed systems, including full-stack performance optimizations and enterprise software debugging tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in backend web development; candidates with advanced experience levels may be considered for senior roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Solid understanding of computer science concepts, especially in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Expertise in distributed systems design and architecture with focus on system scaling and performance.
• Prior programming experience in languages like C++, Node.js, or Python and readiness to work extensively with Go.
• Strong enthusiasm for learning new technologies and fostering innovation.
• Proficiency in setting up monitoring systems and managing incidents efficiently to ensure system recovery.
• Additional skills in frontend and backend development tasks are a plus.
