Role Overview
This opportunity offers full remote work from home, with the necessity that candidates reside in New Zealand or Australia, preferably Auckland, and hold valid work rights in these countries. Key Responsibilities & Experience Required
- Leverage over 7 years of pertinent software development experience to contribute effectively.
- Implement and maintain solutions within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and utilize broader Microsoft technologies and operational workflows.
- Deploy artificial intelligence models into production environments, especially working with large language models (LLMs), applying sound judgment for appropriate use cases.
- Utilize Azure cloud services, including containerization and infrastructure-as-code deployment strategies.
Technical Skills
- Programming with Python and development using FastAPI.
- Database design and management with PostgreSQL and SQL principles.
- Version control practices using Git.
- User interface development employing React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS data platforms.
- Understanding and application of Data Vault methodology.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Data governance principles and implementation.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of application deployment and securing access controls.
- Exposure to enterprise-level deployment processes.
- Insight into business processes and application technology integration.
