About the Role
UCC Holding is searching for a seasoned Senior Reservoir Manager to spearhead reservoir management, field development plans, and reservoir performance enhancement activities across its upstream oil and gas assets. The role demands technical authority in reservoir engineering, reserves evaluation, production forecasting, and asset development to boost hydrocarbon extraction and maximize asset value.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct reservoir engineering analyses for oil and gas operations including exploration, appraisal, development, and production assets.
- Formulate and manage reservoir strategies aimed at optimizing recovery and boosting production results.
- Execute reservoir simulations, material balance evaluations, decline curve assessments, and forecast production rates.
- Assess field development prospects, infill drilling, enhanced and improved oil recovery projects, and strategic reservoir depletion planning.
- Conduct reserves and resource evaluations adhering to global reporting benchmarks.
- Combine geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and production datasets to inform asset development choices.
- Offer expert guidance on well positioning, reservoir monitoring, and optimizing production operations.
- Lead cross-functional subsurface teams, facilitating strategic business planning and investment evaluations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, industry protocols, and company governance policies.
Technical Qualifications
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, dynamic modeling, material balance, pressure transient analysis, and production forecasting methodologies.
- Proficient in industry-standard reservoir engineering software including Petrel RE, Eclipse, CMG, tNavigator, MBAL, OFM, Prosper, GAP, and IPM Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of carbonate and clastic reservoirs as well as oil, gas, and condensate fields.
- Experience in field development planning, reservoir surveillance, analysis of well performance, and reserves certification processes.
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR) technologies.
- Demonstrated ability in integrated asset management to optimize asset value.
Educational Background and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field; master's degree is advantageous.
- At least 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Previous roles with major International Oil Companies, National Oil Companies, or leading exploration and production operators.
- Proven leadership history managing reservoir engineering teams and overseeing substantial upstream projects.
