Overview
As Schneider Electric continues to expand its Electrical Distribution Services, the Senior Projects Specialist will spearhead multiple medium-scale MV/LV projects, including retrofits, modernizations, and essential maintenance tasks. This role entails full accountability from customer handover through invoicing and payment collection, emphasizing margin security, digitalized execution, and high customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of MV/LV electrical projects: validate scope, oversee procurement, supervise site work, conduct commissioning, and lead handover.
- Utilize digital tools like mySchneider, Salesforce, and ERP systems for project initiation, documentation, contract validation, and invoicing processes.
- Conduct kick-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders to define scope, highlight risks, and align on delivery strategies.
- Monitor project financials including budgets, revenue forecasts, and gross margin, ensuring proactive invoice processing and cash collection via automated billing systems.
- Collaborate closely with Field Services, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate materials and schedule execution leveraging digital platforms.
- Plan resource allocation including manpower and equipment in line with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality standards.
- Manage project-specific HSE initiatives including PPE compliance, risk assessments, and training programs.
- Identify and mitigate risks to prevent impacts on timelines or financial targets, escalating issues when necessary.
- Interface primarily with customers throughout project execution, maintaining transparent communication on progress, adjustments, and risks.
- Gather customer feedback through satisfaction surveys at project completion to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead post-project debrief sessions to document lessons learned, contribute to knowledge sharing, and optimize delivery methods.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Have at least five years of experience managing MV/LV projects, especially in retrofit and services sectors.
- Hold a PMP® certification; Schneider Project Management certification is an advantage for internal candidates.
- Demonstrate deep technical understanding of MV/LV systems, retrofit techniques, and lifecycle solutions covering equipment such as Masterpact, Easypact, Sepam, and VAMP.
- Be familiar with sales-to-execution frameworks using digital platforms (Salesforce, mySchneider, ERP tools like SAP or Oracle).
- Exhibit strong commercial insight for interpreting payment terms, contract clauses, and margin implications.
- Experience handling customer change requests and conducting negotiations effectively.

- Familiarity with related domains such as SCADA, Drives, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Power Quality Systems is beneficial.
