About the Role
Join the Auckland Water team at WSP as a Senior Project Manager, leading medium to large-scale multidisciplinary projects integrating technical, commercial, and delivery aspects. You will oversee projects from initial scope and planning through to successful completion, ensuring quality outcomes that align with timelines and budgets.
Working with both local and remote specialist teams, you will manage resources, programs, budgets, risks, changes, and quality assurance processes. This role offers a chance to forge strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and industry partners while simplifying complex challenges into understandable solutions. Your leadership and sound judgment will drive innovative business solutions and enhance the delivery effectiveness of water-related projects.
About You
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Hold a postgraduate qualification in Project Management
- Have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in Infrastructure, Transport, or Water civil projects
- Bring 3 to 4 years of project management experience within engineering or professional services consultancy firms
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands efficiently
- Maintain a collaborative, client-centered approach with confidence interacting at all organizational levels and in matrix environments involving external partners
- Hold a valid clean driver’s license and be available for travel as necessary
Work Conditions
This is a full-time position requiring a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday. The role offers an annual salary between $120,000 and $140,000 NZD.
