Position Overview

We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager focused on luxury projects to lead and oversee multiple project managers across diverse initiatives. The role entails ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of projects by managing scope, commercial performance, and contractual compliance in alignment with overarching company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, ensuring projects meet scheduled deadlines within budget and contractual terms.
  • Oversee project delivery success and supervise managerial teams while updating the Country Manager on performance and progress.
  • Align project objectives with the strategic plans set by the Country Manager and company executives.
  • Define program requirements and verify that project deliverables adhere to established standards.
  • Manage development of Project Execution Plans, Health & Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Control protocols.
  • Serve as the company liaison with clients and primary subcontractors during project execution.
  • Negotiate scope adjustments and contractual changes with clients and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to cultivate and secure new client projects.
  • Create and circulate comprehensive project summaries to all team members for effective communication.
  • Address potential cost overruns or scheduling issues promptly by implementing corrective plans and notifying stakeholders.
  • Promote the adoption of technical and commercial best practices through rigorous Quality Assurance.
  • Monitor overall program progress and regularly report status, significant milestones, and any risks to the Country Manager.
  • Perform additional duties relevant to the leadership of large-scale luxury projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Over 20 years of experience managing construction and design projects, particularly in luxury hospitality sectors.
  • In-depth expertise in program management and engineering principles with a strategic grasp of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for varied audiences including clients, corporate leadership, and project teams.
  • Advanced leadership capabilities to effectively manage and mentor project managers and personnel.
  • Technologically adept with knowledge of current tools and their optimal application in project contexts.
