Team Overview
The Consumer Experience & Integrity (CXI) team supports a complex digital ecosystem connecting millions of users across mobility, food delivery, e-commerce, financial services, and digital products. Areas covered include Trust, Safety, Identity, SuperApp architecture, Loyalty & Subscriptions, Customer Support, Communications, Homepage Personalization, and Growth.
Role Summary
We seek a senior technical leader with a broad remit to transform AI-driven software engineering practices, elevate architectural standards for large-scale distributed systems, and develop shared platforms to enable faster, autonomous team operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Revolutionize the Software Development Lifecycle integrating AI to embed autonomous agents and AI at every stage from design to incident management.
- Develop frameworks, evaluation strategies, test environments, and guardrails to ensure safe, scalable, and higher-autonomy engineering workflows enhancing feedback speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead architecture for high-throughput, highly available distributed systems focused on consumer and integrity services with emphasis on scalability, robustness, performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Create common platform solutions that span Integrity domains and other CXI responsibilities to support various business units and products, preventing redundant problem-solving.
- Promote architectural coherence while empowering autonomous teams by establishing industry-leading architectures, principles, patterns, and guardrails, collaborating with engineers, leaders, and data scientists.
Required Qualifications
- Over 12 years of experience in software engineering and systems design, including at least 5 years in principal engineer or architect roles.
- Proven expertise driving AI-enabled engineering transformations encompassing coding agents, agentic workflows, context/knowledge systems, automated testing, evaluation methods, and engineering guardrails.
- Track record of architecting and scaling extensive distributed platforms used by millions with high reliability and uptime requirements.
- Experience in building or leading shared platform capabilities adopted across multiple products or business units.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-team architectural initiatives, influencing senior technical and engineering leadership without direct authority.
