Role Overview
The Planning Manager will work within a collaborative team to ensure client objectives are fulfilled effectively. The role demands a proactive, motivated professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, committed to supporting our Project Management division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project team with all planning-related activities, ensuring any programme issues are identified and clearly communicated.
- Provide expert planning guidance and direction to project team members and stakeholders, delivering programme assurance reports for client assignments.
- Generate progress reports highlighting deviations from baseline schedules.
- Prepare and provide periodic programme updates and contribute to project reporting.
- Facilitate coordination between clients, partners, consultants, and contractors to align work programmes and enforce compliance, reporting non-compliance issues for resolution.
- Support bidding teams with planning inputs to ensure timely submission of bidding documents as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- At least 15 years of post-graduate experience is essential.
- Proven regional experience within a professional consultancy environment.
- Advanced proficiency in multiple discipline-specific scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and other planning and resource management tools.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong command of project management and planning software and methodologies.
- Industry experience in real estate and infrastructure sectors is required.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
