Senior Planner

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Planner to join a project controls team focused on complex projects across London and the South East. This position is tailored for an experienced planning professional with extensive expertise in project controls and a proven background specifically within the data centre industry. The role is ideal for someone whose career has progressed deeply in project planning and who wants to leverage their knowledge to facilitate successful major project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed project programmes to ensure effective delivery outcomes.
• Offer planning and project controls guidance during all phases of project lifecycles.
• Track project progress, highlight potential risks, and support comprehensive reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate programme performance and manage essential milestones.
• Deliver precise planning data to inform strategic decision-making processes.
• Coordinate project activities effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in project controls or project planning roles.
• A minimum of 5 years working specifically within the Data Centre sector.
• Proven capabilities in senior planning positions or similar project controls functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex project delivery situations.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout London and the South East as necessary.
