Role Overview
This position focuses on quick commerce, a critical growth driver for foodpanda. The Senior Manager of Growth Strategy will be responsible for managing the economic drivers behind user expansion in quick commerce across various markets. The main targets are boosting the monthly active user (MAU) penetration and increasing trial rates while ensuring cost efficiency is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for quick commerce growth results across multiple markets, targeting MAU percentage increases and trial rates by crafting and implementing strategic growth plans tailored to specific market opportunities, and ensuring alignment across teams on new growth possibilities.
- Regularly analyze weekly economic performance to uncover and address inefficiencies related to costs or incentives.
- Develop and implement scalable and sustainable incentive frameworks for quick commerce growth.
- Collaborate closely with local growth and commercial teams to design and execute effective incentive strategies.
- Create and maintain a set of fundamental guidelines for incentive programs in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Lead cross-departmental projects with a strong emphasis on achieving solid unit economics.
- Deliver comprehensive performance reports and economic summaries that enable informed decision-making by senior leadership.
- Conduct detailed analyses to understand significant fluctuations in growth or costs.
Additional Information and Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree with excellent academic records.
- Bring over five years of relevant experience in strategic roles, consulting, growth management, or positions within technology-driven enterprises.
- Exhibit a robust analytical skill set with ease in interpreting profit and loss statements, return on investment, and economic trade-offs.
- Demonstrate experience in shaping decisions among senior leaders across various departments.
- Show strong prioritization capabilities with a bias for action and a focus on ROI-oriented results.
- Communicate clearly and logically, applying sound business judgment.
- Maintain a proactive ownership approach, thriving in environments with ambiguity.
- Have advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets; proficiency in SQL is advantageous.
