Role Overview
As a Senior Manager specializing in Artificial Intelligence, you will be instrumental in enhancing Singapore's AI capabilities, focusing especially on generative AI innovation while embedding AI safety and trust. Your contributions will impact multiple sectors including legal and healthcare, supporting the growth and sophistication of Singapore’s AI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed technical due diligence on leading AI technology providers and analyze their technological insights, becoming the organization's key AI resource.
- Drive the creation of generative AI solutions, covering both software and hardware, collaborating with experts to pinpoint and develop initial use cases and prototypes.
- Support ongoing AI projects such as AI hardware benchmarking, agentic AI, and embodied AI initiatives.
- Embed AI safety and trust considerations into development procedures to ensure ethical AI deployment.
- Design and manage grant programs aimed at facilitating AI adoption among end users, in addition to supporting initiatives for technology provider research, commercialization, and workforce development within the AI ecosystem.
- Organize and support AI-focused workshops, events, and international exchanges to promote community knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related disciplines required; PhD preferred.
- Deep understanding of generative AI concepts, with practical experience developing AI technologies.
- Several years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AI applications in practical environments.
- Knowledge of AI safety and trust principles, with proven ability to apply these in AI system development.
- Experience applying AI solutions across sectors like legal and healthcare.
- Track record of collaboration with local research bodies and government on technology projects.
- Strong skills in conducting technical due diligence and interpreting research.
- Proficient communicator able to convey complex AI topics to diverse audiences.
- Experience in grant program design or related initiatives in technology is advantageous.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, particularly Python, along with familiarity with AI frameworks and development tools.
- Direct experience with AI hardware benchmarking, agentic AI development, or embodied AI projects is highly valued.
