Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join a well-established multidisciplinary design consultancy based in Dubai. You will engage in a variety of prestigious residential, commercial, and public realm projects across the UAE, contributing your expertise throughout the full landscape design process. The focus will be on the early phases of pre-concept, concept, and schematic design, alongside providing technical support through subsequent stages of design development and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop landscape design concepts starting from pre-concept and concept phases through to schematic designs, while continuing involvement during later delivery stages.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations relating to concept and schematic design stages.
- Actively participate in client meetings, workshops, and design presentations to communicate ideas and gather feedback.
- Coordinate landscape design efforts with architects, engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated project outcomes.
- Assist in advancing projects from schematic designs to detailed design and Issued for Construction documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years' professional experience in landscape design.
- Strong proficiency in pre-concept, concept, and schematic design phases.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing innovative and high-quality landscape architectural work.
- Experience handling large-scale, complex projects covering diverse sectors.
- Capability to create and effectively present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Successful collaboration experience with multidisciplinary teams including architects and engineers.
- Sound technical knowledge to support design advancement and documentation through later project stages.
- Skilled in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, or comparable applications.
- Prior exposure to projects in the UAE or Middle East region is beneficial, though not a strict requirement.
