Overview
Join as a Senior Implementation Consultant focusing on EDI and e-Invoicing, acting as a vital connection between enterprise clients in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) and Comarch's technology teams in Poland. In this position, you'll utilize the cloud-based Comarch EDI platform to facilitate smooth, secure, and real-time Electronic Data Interchange, automating business document workflows in logistics, procurement, sales, and finance. Your leadership will oversee technical implementations and uphold compliance with local e-invoicing laws, while managing client relationships on-site and supporting pre-sales initiatives in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end EDI/e-Invoicing implementation projects for UAE clients covering planning, requirements gathering, configuration, testing management, user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-launch support.
- Act as the main on-site liaison for clients in UAE and MEA throughout all project stages, conducting regular site visits and facilitating workshops.
- Collaborate closely with the Polish development, support, and product teams, serving as the regional interface to the Warsaw/Kraków delivery hubs.
- Manage post-implementation activities, including addressing escalations, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and engaging in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Track and report key SLA metrics, prepare service review presentations for major accounts.
- Contribute to business growth efforts by participating in pre-sales discussions, demonstrating solutions, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and acting as a subject expert for sales teams.
- After stabilizing UAE client projects, expand responsibilities as regional deployment lead across adjacent MEA markets.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and coordinate upsell/cross-sell strategies with account managers.
- Enhance internal knowledge by documenting regional implementation practices, client-specific customizations, and lessons learned.
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronic Commerce, or related fields.
- 4 to 6 years of confirmed IT implementation experience, including senior or lead roles involving client engagement.
- Proven ability to independently manage full project cycles in enterprise or mid-market environments.
- Fluent English communication skills (C1/C2 level) essential for collaboration with international teams and clients.
- Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage; knowledge of Hindi or Urdu is beneficial within the multicultural UAE context.
- Preferably experienced with the Middle East market, familiar with local business culture and compliance requirements such as UAE FTA and KSA's ZATCA.
- Self-driven with excellent communication, ownership mentality, and strong stakeholder management skills comfortable engaging C-level and technical teams.
