QA Tester

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to become a vital part of our team based in Dubai. The right applicant will possess 3 to 4 years of dedicated QA expertise, comprehensive knowledge of software development procedures, and a keen eye for both functional performance and user interface/user experience quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and complete end-to-end evaluations of web applications.
• Perform smoke tests following software releases and updates to verify essential system functionalities before advancing to detailed assessments.
• Detect, replicate, record, and monitor bugs affecting both frontend and backend components.
• Generate precise bug reports outlining reproduction steps, expected versus actual outcomes, visual evidence such as screenshots or videos, and pertinent technical details.
• Validate new features against both business objectives and technical specifications prior to release.
• Conduct tests on APIs, payment processing, and third-party integrations to uncover issues related to system interoperability.
• Collaborate tightly with developers, project managers, and designers throughout development phases and deployment cycles.
• Compare implemented user interfaces against Figma design files to spot visual discrepancies, responsiveness faults, and user experience complications.
• Carry out cross-browser compatibility testing and responsiveness verification on both mobile and desktop devices.
• Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support validation for new releases.
• Confirm fixes for bugs before final deployment to production environments.
• Identify uncommon or boundary case scenarios that may go beyond established test plans.
• Develop and sustain organized test cases, scenarios, and comprehensive QA documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years in professional QA or software testing roles.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques specific to web-based applications.
• A solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) alongside established QA methodologies and procedures.
• Good familiarity with both frontend and backend system architectures.
• Experience with API testing and verifying system integrations.
• Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and ability to analyze and work with design software such as Figma.
• Effective communication skills to translate technical issues clearly for development teams.
• Hands-on experience with task and bug tracking systems such as Jira or ClickUp.
• Strong analytical thinking combined with problem-solving aptitude.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
• Availability to work full-time at the company's onsite location in Dubai.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Familiarity with testing tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Skills using browser developer consoles and basic SQL querying.
• Experience with version control platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of payment platform testing or working with high-traffic digital systems.
