Role Overview

They are currently expanding and require an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team, playing a vital role in securing new projects by preparing competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate precise and competitive cost estimates and tender documents specifically for civil and underground utility works.
• Analyze drawings, scope documents, quantities, and detailed specifications to perform first-principles estimating.
• Oversee the entire tender process from initial evaluation to final submission.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing proposals.
• Coordinate with Project Delivery and Commercial departments to ensure seamless project handover.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience working as an Estimator in utilities, underground infrastructure, or civil construction sectors.
• Deep knowledge of earthworks, trenching, excavation, and underground service installations.
• Proficient with first-principles estimating methods and preparation of tenders.
• Strong commercial insight alongside meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple bids and meet strict deadlines within a dynamic work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 plus superannuation and a company vehicle.
