Role Overview

As a Senior iOS Engineer at Viki, you will enhance and maintain our iOS applications including those for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The position involves collaborating with a talented team of iOS developers known for their innovation, recognized in tech publications and globally featured apps. This role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in media streaming technologies across various platforms such as Apple TV, mobile devices, and Chromecast.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI).
• Innovate to boost app efficiency, connectivity, and core user experience.
• Work closely with product and design teams to develop inventive user interfaces and features tailored for mobile platforms.
• Explore, prototype, and investigate cutting-edge technological concepts relevant to iOS/mobile development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• At least 5 years developing native applications for iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
• Proficient in Swift programming and familiar with UI frameworks such as UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of iOS internals including multithreading and memory management on mobile devices.
• Capability to apply inventive problem-solving to enhance app performance and connectivity.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in video streaming technologies.
• Background in product design with user analytics focus.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks in iOS development.
• Experience managing in-app subscriptions.
