Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Engineer or Engineer in QA specializing in application testing. The role involves performing testing activities on our applications across platforms such as iOS, Android, FireTV, Roku, Samsung, and LG, depending on your expertise. This position offers collaboration with a talented engineering team whose work has been featured across numerous technology websites and international markets. You will gain insights into media streaming technologies across multiple platforms including mobile and connected TVs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application testing with 1 to 4 years of experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Apply strong understanding of software engineering practices such as SOLID principles, version control (git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Effectively troubleshoot and debug software to pinpoint vulnerabilities and defects, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved.
• Analyze functional and technical specifications and interpret data accurately.
• Create comprehensive test plans and cases aligned with product requirements.
• Prepare test environments and generate necessary test data for execution.
• Deliver clear test results reports for every test cycle.
• Develop basic UI automation tests to support quality assurance efforts.
• Maintain consistent product quality across various platforms while preserving an agile development environment.
• Collaborate extensively with engineering, product management, and design teams to comprehend new functionality and changes, ensuring testing aligns with development goals and schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Essential understanding of Software Engineering concepts and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• A proactive approach towards learning and integrating new testing tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with video streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Exposure to working in product-oriented companies.
• Knowledge in handling in-app subscription models.
