Our client is a well-established organization in the high-tech manufacturing sector, with a strong regional presence in APAC and headquartered in Singapore. They seek to expand their team by hiring a Software Engineer skilled in C++ to contribute to manufacturing software solutions.
Job Description
- Design, create, and maintain software applications in C++ tailored for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze user requirements to support development, implementation, and enhancement of existing applications.
- Work collaboratively across departments to identify areas for improvement, developing new features and functionalities accordingly.
- Oversee software vendor relationships and offer technical guidance to business users.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in software development methodologies.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years experience in C++ or C programming.
- Prior exposure to the equipment or manufacturing industry is essential.
- Knowledge of SECS/GEM protocols is advantageous.
