Role Overview

This opportunity is a one-year contract located in Tuas with a monthly salary of up to SGD 8,750. The role involves leading environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities on-site to ensure operational compliance and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee site EHS functions, ensuring adherence to both regulatory requirements and company policies, especially during facility shutdowns.
• Administer high-risk workplace safety programs, emphasizing confined space access, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining biological safety standards.
• Conduct risk analyses, identify hazards, and carry out thorough site inspections across various operational units.
• Contribute to process safety measures by facilitating hazard analyses and industrial hygiene assessments.
• Provide safety training and monitor safety performance metrics within centralized management systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years of direct EHS operational experience within chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Expertise focused on daily plant operations rather than construction project oversight.
• Possession of a valid Fire Safety Manager certification.
• A tertiary degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or closely related fields.
• Demonstrated skill in executing risk evaluations, process safety reviews, and safety audits on-site.
