Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer to spearhead equipment preservation activities, ensuring the integrity of both static and rotary equipment throughout all phases—from receipt to installation and commissioning. Your leadership will ensure strict adherence to project specifications, OEM recommendations, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and continuously improve equipment preservation strategies for diverse equipment types.
• Guarantee effective preservation during various storage and lay-up phases.
• Manage preservation efforts for equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, and packages.
• Coordinate material control functions encompassing receipt, inspection, storage, and status tracking.
• Oversee proper equipment handling, including lifting and transportation, to mitigate damage risks.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to verify preservation effectiveness, issuing reports and necessary corrective measures.
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning departments.
• Ensure full compliance with OEM directives, project criteria, and industry benchmarks.
• Provide preservation-focused support during pre-commissioning and handover phases.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• At least 12 years of dedicated experience in equipment preservation within large-scale industrial or EPC environments.
• Demonstrable expertise managing both static and rotary equipment preservation.
• Proven track record in material control and warehouse oversight.
• Experienced in equipment handling procedures and site logistics coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Skills and Competencies

• Deep understanding of preservation techniques and methods.
• Strong grasp of interfaces between construction and commissioning stages.
• Knowledgeable in international preservation standards and best practices.
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively in dynamic site environments.
