Senior Drilling Supervisor

Overview

The Senior Drilling Supervisor acts as the official QatarEnergy representative aboard the offshore jack-up drilling rigs. This role carries full accountability for leading all rig operations, ensuring activities are conducted with utmost safety, efficiency, and in strict compliance with the company’s operational targets.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Manage and supervise all drilling operations on offshore jack-up rigs.
• Apply extensive experience to evaluate field conditions and make precise operational decisions emphasizing safety and efficiency.
• Leverage strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to maintain high standards.
• Preferably oversee workover operations involving gas and horizontal wells.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 15 years in drilling operations, with a minimum of 5 years as an Offshore Drilling Supervisor.
• Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Possess IWCF (International Well Control Forum) certification at the Supervisor level.
