Senior Business Analyst (Analytics)

Overview

Seeking an experienced AI and Business Intelligence Engineer with proficiency in machine learning and AI applications. This role involves crafting and deploying scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to aid data-driven decision making throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI-enhanced applications utilizing large language models (LLMs).
• Create interactive dashboards and embed AI/ML models into business intelligence platforms to boost insights and user engagement.
• Integrate natural language query capabilities, automated insights, and conversational analytics within BI tools.
• Evaluate and refine outputs generated by LLMs to guarantee their precision and pertinence.

Requirements

• At least eight years of professional experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, or advanced analytics; experience in the oil and gas sector is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with AI solution development on cloud services like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, utilizing tools such as AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Vertex AI Studio, and Databricks Mosaic AI.
• Strong command of AI/ML algorithms, large language models, and contemporary AI system architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL as well as frameworks including Hugging Face, LangChain, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Semantic Kernel.
• Competence in creating impactful visualizations and dashboards that aid storytelling with real-time insight capabilities.
• Understanding of data governance, ethical AI implementation, model explainability, data lineage, access controls, and sensitivity classifications.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, orchestration using Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines for machine learning projects.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with business teams and translate complex technical information into accessible language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related fields is required; a Master’s degree specializing in AI or Machine Learning is preferred.
