Job description
Role Overview
This position involves collaborating closely with freight carriers and warehouse personnel, including shipping and receiving clerks or stockers, to streamline logistics operations. Key duties include monitoring inventory status and addressing any inconsistencies found during reconciliation processes.
Accurate maintenance of data within transportation and warehouse management systems forms a critical part of the responsibilities, alongside identifying and resolving inefficiencies in delivery routes or shipment delays. The role requires ensuring adherence to transportation regulations and international trade compliance.
A significant part of the job includes handling shipping paperwork such as bills of lading, packing lists, and proof of delivery. The coordinator also prepares regular logistics reporting, covering daily, weekly, or monthly summaries with a focus on on-time delivery performance.
